RECRUITMENT AND HIRING PROCESS


INTRODUCTION:

   The recruitment and hiring process is one of the most important parts in finding the right person for the right job function. As such, a logical manner to arrive at such a process is needed. The process flow stated in the following pages answers the need for this.


OBJECTIVES: The objectives of this process flow are
  1. To ensure our principals that every individual who will be hired is physically, mentally and have sound moral character and is equipped with appropriate and proper competencies to achieve the quality standards set forth by our clients.
  2. To ensure that the successful applicants are made to be fully aware of:
    1. their rights and privileges under the existing labor laws and standards;
    2. terms and conditions of their employment as provided for under DOLE Order 18-02;
    3. and our employees responsibility as the third party in the Job Contracting Agreement entered into by and between the Principal and Eight Golds Employment Services, Inc.
  3. To ensure that best results expected by the principal are met without prejudice to our workers, in accordance with all labor laws and standards in lione with Eight Golds E S Inc. Corporate Philosophy

PROCESS FLOW:

Step # 1. Announcement Of Job Vacancy

   Using posters and leaflets respectively posted and distributed on highly populated and frequently occupied areas (such as malls, public markets, terminals of public utilities and the likes). Through newspaper ads, by SMS messaging and through our website: www.8golds.com

Step # 2. Initial Interview

   Upon filling-up of application forms and submission of their respective résumés with 2 x 2 picture, the applicant will be interviewed to:

  1. Assess his/her intention or motivation for applying for the desired position
  2. Determine his/her expectations regarding his/her employment
  3. Determine the truthfulness of the information indicated in the application form and from the résumé.
  4. Determine if he/she is mentally and psychologically fit for the desired position
Step # 3 Submission Of Pertinent Documentary Requirements

   If the applicant passes the Initial Interview, each will be required to submit the following, to wit
  1. Most Recent Residence Certificate, Barangay and Police Clearance
  2. Municipal Court Clearance and NBI Clearance
  3. Schematic Diagram of his/her residential location
  4. Diploma, Transcript Of Records, Certificates Of Attendance and Completion for Trainings and Seminars Acquired
Step # 4 Pre-Employment Testing

  1. IQ test for rank and file positions
  2. IQ and Psychological testing for clerical positions
Step # 5 Interview/Screening By Principal

   All pre-qualified applicants shall be endorsed to the Principal for further Interview and Screening. Step # 6 Medical Examination

   Applicants who pass the interview of the Principal will be required to undergo the most appropriate pre-employment medical examinations.

Step # 7 Pre-employment Orientation

   All physically fit candidates shall be given the pre-employment orientation on the following, to wit:
  1. Basic Rights and Privileges of workers in accordance with the Labor Code Of The Philippines.
  2. DOLE Order 18-02, otherwise known as Rules Implementing Article 106-109 of the Labor Code, As Amended
  3. Terms and Conditions of his/her Employment Contract with Eight Golds Employment Services, Inc.
  4. Terms and Conditions of the Job Contracting Agreement between the Principal and Eight Golds Employment Services, Inc.
  5. Functions and responsibilities in the performance of their task/s
  6. Rules and regulations of the Principal, systems and procedures, and quality standards necessary in the completion of the job being contracted-out
Step # 8 Signing Of Employment Contract
